We booked an original guided tour in Istanbul and were somewhat disappointed. We had no complaints about the tour itself—it was genuinely interesting and informative—but the organization wasn’t very good.
There was a delay at the beginning while the instructions were being read to us. Then, once the group had finally gathered, there were so many people that we couldn’t always see or hear the guide. Overall, we expected more(

Our guide was a true professional and an expert on the local sights. He shared lots of interesting stories and facts about every place we visited. The tour was also organized extremely well—we visited not only popular tourist attractions, but also places that are usually off-limits to ordinary tourists 🙂

When we travel independently, we almost always book tours through Tripster. It’s very convenient to book everything in advance on the website and plan the trip.
There are occasional issues with notifications, and we have to contact support, but overall, we like the service and will continue using it. The tours are interesting, with lots of unique options that I haven’t seen anywhere else.

I regularly book tours through Tripster—about once every three months—mostly in Moscow, where I live. I’ve taken tours of different neighborhoods and streets, including Kitay-Gorod, Lubyanka, VDNKh, and Arbat. They let you rediscover familiar places.
While traveling, I took a tour of the district where GAZ factory workers used to live. The guide was an architect who showed us old plans and unique examples of Constructivist architecture, and told us about the everyday lives of the workers at that time. It was fascinating.
I’ve also booked tours in Samarkand and Sri Lanka, and they were excellent too.

I booked a tour of Moscow’s secret bars through Tripster with our guide Sergey in December. I highly recommend it. I never expected a bar crawl to turn into such an atmospheric event. We were thrilled. These were truly new places for us, with excellent food and delicious, high-quality cocktails.

My colleagues and I went on a stand-up tour of Chinatown. For two hours, we walked around places I would never have ventured into alone. There were fascinating stories behind practically every brick, and the guide knew everything about all of them. He also made lots of jokes—98% of them were appropriate and genuinely funny. All in all, it was two hours of pure fun!

Люблю Трипстер за огромный выбор экскурсий, среди которых много необычного. Не раз им пользовалась, всегда всё отлично — и в плане сайта, и в плане самой экскурсии. Пока попадались только хорошие гиды, увлечённые знатоки, любящие своё дело. С такими гулять одно удовольствие. Особенно запомнилась прогулка на катере в Выборге — мы добрались аж до водной границы с Финляндией! Никогда в жизни не оказалась бы там самостоятельно, а с экскурсией всё посмотрела и много узнала.
